Australia (2008) trailer

I do not really know exactly what is the story about. Only thing I know is that it is love story at the beginning of WW2. Also it is about Australia, made by an Australian director and Australian actors so who knows better their country but them.

I don’t like love stories, especially in an era that makes them tragic, because they make me sad if they don’t make me bored. If there is a love story that finishes with a happy ending then it is usually a comedy. If it does not end happily or with someone getting killed then it is not worth made into a movie.

Hugh Jackman is almost the perfect guy, because he is hairy and masculine and is a great performer too, but unfortunately he is married with children and I am not that kind of person.

I have the impression that Kidman sometimes tries too hard to look fragile and sensual that I do not feel anything fragile and sensual from her. She was great in Moulin Rouge, but I think she would be perfect if she didn’t try that hard.
